Win your weight in wine with Riebeek Cellars and the Pink Lady Drakenstein Canoe Race

The Pink Lady® Drakenstein Canoe Race is a new and exciting two day canoe marathon. This race is on the most exhilarating and scenic parts of the Berg River and will be the most fun you could have in a two-day event in the Western Cape. Day 1 of the race stretches from Paarl to Hermon (45km) with Day 2 beginning at the top of the Berg River dam back down to Paarl (30km). The race is rated as a B grade by Canoeing South Africa, opening the race to most paddlers in South Africa. Full Race or Lite, choose the distance that suits your fitness.  The total distance of the canoe race is 75km for the full race and 55 km for the “lite race”.

Boogie on the Berg Family Market

On Sunday 14 June at the finish in Paarl Pink Lady® will be hosting the Boogie on the Berg Family Market at the Paarl Rugby Club.  At the market there will be market stalls to browse and buy, plus food stalls for everyone to enjoy.  There will be live music from The Bottomless Coffee band and a marquee in the garden with chairs to keep all everyone warm, dry and comfortable. Join us at the market from 10h30 and watch the final sprints of the winners on the Berg River.  It promises to be an exciting and eventful day for all.

A - room temperature of 18 degrees allows you to taste the wine better. B - red wine tastes better at room temperature and white wine chilled. Each one has their own unique taste and smell.

B, as wine oxidises above 24 °C #TriviaTuesday #PinotageMonth 🍷
