The Pink Lady® Drakenstein Canoe Race is a new and exciting two day canoe marathon. This race is on the most exhilarating and scenic parts of the Berg River and will be the most fun you could have in a two-day event in the Western Cape. Day 1 of the race stretches from Paarl to Hermon (45km) with Day 2 beginning at the top of the Berg River dam back down to Paarl (30km). The race is rated as a B grade by Canoeing South Africa, opening the race to most paddlers in South Africa. Full Race or Lite, choose the distance that suits your fitness. The total distance of the canoe race is 75km for the full race and 55 km for the “lite race”.
