Riebeek Cellars stood ‘Proudly South African’ next to all the Swartland wine producers at Cape Wine 2015. What a great show it was!! Very well attended by International retailers, sommeliers, restaurateurs, hoteliers, educators, wine critics and media etc.
We showcased our new Short Street range of Southern Rhone style blends which are very well suited to our Swartland terroir. We are very happy with the great reception & feedback on the Short Street range (great style, expressive Swartland character in the wine, vibrant packaging). This makes us even more excited to see it on global shelves very soon!!
We also unveiled, for the first time ever, Kasteelberg Pinotage & Chardonnay!! Kasteelberg has always epitomised Riebeek Cellars Winemakers’ Art and due to popular demand, the range has been extended (from only Shiraz & Viognier) to Chardonnay & Pinotage as our flagship export.
We were also proud to be co-presenters at the Speakers Corner: Swartland – The Dryland Stories.
Riebeek Cellars hosted all our international clients both in the Riebeek Valley & in Cape Town. This was a perfect opportunity to strengthen old relationships and to make new friends. We were happy to receive guests form the UK, USA, China, Japan, Holland, Germany, Columbia and Finland.
Cape Wine is an excellent platform to showcase Riebeek Cellars in the context of the progressive nature of The SA Wine Industry through innovation, quality and a unique differentiated wine offering.
